  • Zumba Kenni
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? Zumba with Kenni is an excellent way meet your fitness goals and/or combat a stressful day. Its fun and encouraging. Zumba with Kenni allows you to become a part of a community of people who share the same goal! Losing weight and/or feeling great! Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged? The way I keep my students motivated is to make everyone feel like a part of my Zumba family. We share, we laugh and we encourage each other right there on the dance floor. We celebrate triumphs in each health goal whether that's losing five pounds, one pound, or keeping lifetime diseases at bay. What was the inspiration to start or run this business? In my community there is a disparity for a way for people to workout without causing a financial bind. So people forgo the gym because they can't afford the fees or think their condition excludes them from a workout. Zumba fitness provides the alternative because its based on individual skill level. What do you love most about your job? Meeting with students every week and watching them transform and become more confident!

  • Amerikick
Grandmaster Dennis Tosten founded the first Amerikick in 1967 and has since taught several champion fighters, police officers, and everyday students karate and self-defense. Today, the lauded chain teaches fitness classes inspired by martial arts, including cardio kickboxing in six states. Each location upholds a curriculum that blends Chinese and Japanese martial-arts styles—including kenpo and tae kwon do—with modern self-defense strategies, further updating traditional practices by eschewing uniforms and belts for casual workout gear. Having attained certification in teaching kickboxing from the National Association of Professional Martial Artists, Amerikick's seasoned instructors also each possess black belts in karate, a rank as difficult to attain as the snake charmer's belt of live cobras.
