How It Works: There are no tables, no seats, no snacks, and no TVs. At least not yet. Although an expansion is in the works for Canton, right now the Fort Point location is the place to go to pick up your beer as straight from the vat as you can get it. Lines are available for bottles and for 64-oz. growlers.
When to Go: It hardly matters. Whenever you swing by, you're almost surely going to find a line. The beer is just that good.
While You Wait in Line: Check out the farmhouse-style details—a bar made from reclaimed wood, curtains made from painter's canvas drop cloths, wooden crates that were at the owners' wedding.
Be prepared to trust your instincts, as there are no samples.
If you visit on special bottle release days, you might be able to try the brewery's double IPA. Just be prepared for a longer line than usual.

They’re serious about all-natural ingredients. Whereas other hard ciders might use artificial sweeteners and juice from concentrate, Downeast is committed to using only fresh-pressed juices and natural ingredients. What’s more, they use local apples to support local farmers.
