Casa Tequila has always been a go to place for great Mexican food. Food is always good just like the service!

I came on Wednesday night, my groupon was expiring the next day. We tried to redeem it 10 days before, not realizing that it was a holiday, President's day. They were very strict about it and also about not extending the upcoming expiration day, and we were a little upset and thought that it is not worth another trip. But on the last day I had a cancelled appointment and had some time to give it a try and go there alone by Metra. It is 10 minutes walking distance from the Highland park Metra station. I am glad I did go! The restaurant was almost empty at 7.30 on a week day, but a lot of people were coming for carry out. They were very friendly, immediately brought the warmed up chips and salsa, very good, brought me extra napkins I wanted, without me even asking for it. I had the duck enchilada. It came quickly. Huge portion, beautiful presentation, and it was absolutely delicious! The leftovers were even better next day. I didn't order anything else, and took half of my meal home. I had a $20 groupon, my order was $25. Didn't have any drinks, it was kind of a rushed visit, but will next time. The bar looks beautiful. I am looking forward to coming back in the warmer weather, with my friends and share great Mexican meals at the tables outside. Great restaurant, highly recommend it!
