Battlefield Vegas is as much a living history museum as it is an interactive shooting range and training complex. At a 5-acre military-style compound just off the strip and at a more than 200-acre offsite desert training facility, instructors guide guests in operating pistols, rifles, and shotguns, and automatic weapons that range from Prohibition-era weapons to current arms carried by NATO forces. Alongside this impressive weapon collection lies a fleet of vehicles that contains specimens such as Willys MB Jeeps driven in World War II and a UH-1C "Huey" helicopter flown in Vietnam.
In addition to managing the collection, Battlefield's staff also lets guests feel what it's like to handle the weaponry through more than 15 packages and scenario experiences. In these supervised programs, instructors supply era-appropriate arms and guide guests through scenarios that re-create historic battles and common military campaigns. In Defending Stalingrad, for example, role-playing soldiers take aim with Tokarev pistols, Mosin Nagant M91/30 rifles, and PPsh-41 submachine guns. Beyond overseeing these scenario experiences and the training facilities, Battlefield's leadership plans to build a 32,000-square-foot outdoor[airsoft field, as well as a military museum.
With miles of desert on either side of the Sin City, it’s no wonder guns and shooting remain popular pastimes with locals. And with over 75 different types of firearms to choose from and a location that sits only minutes away from the Strip, The Gun Store is a great place to purchase individual sport firearms for recreational use. Whether you’re in the market for handguns, semiautomatics, rifles or machine guns, The Gun Store will even let you try before you buy, thanks to an on-site 30-lane gun range. Of course, you could always just swing by to fire off a few rounds without taking one home with you, thanks to shooting packages available from the front desk.
Since its inception in 1988, The Gun Store has honored their service to all individuals looking to buy a firearm, and can even host your next bachelor or bachelorette party.
If you're locked and loaded and ready to take aim the Las Vegas area, Clark County Shooting Complex is where you need to be. This 5-star facility offers local marksmen outdoor shooting as well as league tournaments at certain times of the year. If you've got a firearm (or bow), they have a practice for you - trap, skeet, sporting clays, archery, rifle, pistol, you name it. There are even times when you'll find special rates during certain hours. Would you like to take part, but you don't own a firearm? No problem. The complex provides handgun and rifle rentals to those 21 and over. While junior shooters (those under 18) are welcome, they do need to be accompanied by a guardian. Plus, in addition to single shooters and small groups, corporate packages are also available.
Discount Firearms and Ammo is Las Vegas’s gun emporium. They started out as a group of gun enthusiasts that enjoyed their hunting and range shooting far too much, to the point that they started their own business. Discount Firearms and Ammo tries to remedy all of the shortcomings of other gun shops, featuring a vast selection of accessories and the most knowledgeable staff they could hire. They’re the layman’s gun store, giving everything that they possibly can to further your enjoyment of firearms while (of course) still operating within the framework of the law.
