60-Minute Swedish Body Massage with One Add-On Service
The massage was wonderful, we got 60 minutes Swedish massage with a hot stone add on. However, the masseuses were visibly sick. Throughout the massage, the masseuses were sniffling, coughing, and breathing through their mouths. It was distracting from the relaxation of the massage and they were not wearing masks. At the end of the massage, I handed the masseuse a 15% tip. She then pointed to the sign saying they require a minimum of $15 for tips. This was not advertised while booking, and I’m not sure if it’s fair to require tips of customers — especially not a minimum amount. I then went home and immediately showered and took vitamins out of fear of getting sick myself. While the masseuses were talented, I do not think I will be going back.
I enjoyed a sound bath the same day I landed in Santa Barbara. It was a beautiful experience. This is the first time I have been to one with lounge like chairs and the experience was still great.
The space was beautifully set up and the tea in the beginning was nice. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area!
