A Chat with CrossFit Cheshire
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Our trainers are top notch, diversified, and passionate. CrossFit Cheshire has been providing exceptional results since 2008.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
CrossFit tests and trains your overall fitness: bodyweight mechanics, explosiveness, speed, gymnastics..., power lifting, and much more!
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Competition, not just with others but with myself and never being satisfied. CrossFit develops areas of weakness and allows someone to transform both physically and emotionally. Our gym is a place of constant change.
What do you love most about your job?
The fear. Everyone has fears, but to be able conquer those fears it takes hard work, consistency, and dedication. When people set goals and accomplish them, that?s when I feel I have done my job. I love being a small part of finding someone's potential and helping create a new, stronger version.
Anytime Fitness, which boasts more than 1,800 clubs in North America, makes it easier for average folks to etch out time for exercise by doing one simple thing: staying open 24 hours a day for 365 days a year. As fitness seekers challenge themselves on state-of-the-art cardio machines and top-of-the-line strength equipment in clean, well-stocked facilities, security monitoring ensures they’re safe and producing enough sweat to meet official government standards. Members can also ramp up their exercise regimens with the help of Anytime Fitness’s staff of personal trainers, who demonstrate moves and sling motivating tips. After workouts, guests can shower in the private restrooms or hop into one of the tanning booths available 24 hours a day.
At CrossFit West Hartford, knowledgeable coaches draw from trainings and disciplines such as MMA fighting and college football to get their students fit and healthy. Instructors work hand-in-hand with each trainee to help them understand the science behind each workout, tailoring exercises to each pupil's abilities, whether high-intensity CrossFit sessions or precise Pilates movements.

"When you have somebody that's actually for you in your corner, and you hear them rooting you on, you get that sense of not wanting to let them down," physical trainer Anthony Oretade says in a video on his family-run business's website. The 82nd Airborne Army veteran and his wife, Melissa, founded Iron for Zion as a training facility where gym-goers can push their boundaries a little further during each workout. Anthony forms a bond of trust with his clients, which allows them to feel comfortable going that extra mile.
