After earning accolades for their dinner menu, the minds behind Tap Root Public House realized that there's more to life the just the last meal of the day. Now home to breakfast and lunch menus, the restaurant quells rumbling stomachs with dishes constructed from organic, free-range proteins and fresh Alaskan produce. A full juice bar and bloody mary bar join 22 local, handcrafted brews, a number of locally produced meads, and 40 different bourbons to form a formidable drink lineup. The restaurant lures in diners at all hours of the day; happy hour specials set the stage for post-work unwinding, and a late-night menu refuels wayfaring party-goers until 2.a.m. Local tunes from live bands fill the interior seven days a week, and Tap Root showcases local art on the first Friday of every month, which is the only day artists are allowed to go outside.
