In addition to being the founder of Fearless magazine and a public-relations expert, Arian also provides the nail technicians at the salon with her own Arian Simone Beauty Products for use during spa services. Made of natural ingredients, the brown-sugar scrub, peppermint cream, and mango body butter nourish skin roughened from cold weather and gloves knit from steel wool. The technicians also employ OPI polish and chip-resistant CND Shellac, and soak feet with FootsieBaths, which employ disposable liners to ensure hygiene.
A glass of complimentary wine, sparkling cider, or tea enhances each visit, and free WiFi enables guests to check email or the status of the futures market for dragon tears as they wait amid the salon’s lavender walls and gleaming wood floor.
