Frosted Tops, Broken Arrow

I called ahead to determine if I needed to place an order since the expiration date was the DAY before Thanksgiving! Terrible idea. They did not want to honor the Groupon when I called the day off to confirm that I was coming to use my Groupon. They said they were too busy because they hadn't planned ahead. The person who I spoke to 2 wks prior said that I wouldn't even need to place an advanced order and then, on the day I wanted to use it, the owner of the shop decided she didn't want to accept any more Groupons. Poor planning, poor management, poor service, and poor quality.

This was my 3rd try of cupcake bakeries in the Tulsa/BA market. The two others required 24 hr notice, Frosted Tops required 48 hrs. I have come to the conclusion that they make these requirements so that they can use the cupcakes left over, after walkin counter sales each day, to fill the groupon orders. Thus groupon redeemers are not getting the freshest of their products. As I said earlier, this is the 3rd cupcake bakery I have tried thru groupon and with every one of them, the cupcakes were dry and old tasting. I had a patient come into the clinic I work at who had picked up her groupon purchase WITHOUT giving the"required" notice. She shared the order with our office and those cupcakes were very moist and delicious. Thus my deduction that groupon buyers, giving notice, get leftovers.

Your cupcakes are good, but your customer service needs a lot of work. I was a first time customer and while in line I witnessed a phone conversation with another customer, severe attitude towards that phone customer when the call was over, then I faced your dislike of Groupon customers. It was not a good experience.

In saying this my husband also dropped the box of cupcakes so it was a mess but what we salvaged was oh so good. friends are coming fron Arizona next week so this could be a stop for lunch for we gals
