Brock Graham Photography, Brooklyn

Brock Graham has shot a documentary about pro-democracy street protesters in Tblisi, Georgia, as well as edited a short documentary entitled In The Shadow of Everest about the work of fellow artist and photographer Tom Wool, which ultimately became a companion piece to Mr. Wool's exhibition in the Rubin Museum of Art. Graham has also edited footage for MTV and promos for This American Life. But museums, televisions, and mirrors hung opposite televisions aren't the only showcases for the accomplished artist's creativity. You can find his work in plenty of photo albums as well.

In addition to working as a director, Graham arranges on-location photo shoots. As with documentaries, he brings a sense of realism to his photographs. Whether posed or unstructured, these shots express the true personalities and emotions of their subjects, capturing smiles between parents and kids, kisses between brides and grooms, and generation gaps between the branches of family trees.
