About Hibiscus Flowershop

Thanks to their bright colors and large size, hibiscus flowers have no trouble making a statement. The blooms are a natural inspiration to the florists of Hibiscus Flowershop—though the message behind any bouquet is generally universal, they take the time to make sure each arrangement has its own creative voice. Sometimes their solutions are elegantly simple, such as a bridal bouquet made entirely of Gypsophila. Other times, their creations boast interesting complexities, such as an unexpected arrangement of orange roses and bird-of-paradise flowers. Their ingenuity extends beyond bouquets, however: they offer free consultations to design creative gardening solutions for New Yorkers with limited space and upstaters with ample outdoor acreage.

I paid $25 for a $15 bouquet that I could have purchased from my local bodega. I DID NOT receive $60 worth of flowers as advertised. Add to this the fact that they tried to add on $8 for putting a bundle of flowers together in a piece of plastic (not mentioned in the "fine print" and in fairness, they did forgo after I complained) and you come out with one rip off. The lady at the shop was very nice but I'd keep smiling too if I was trying to pass off a $15 bouquet of cheap flowers for a $60 product. Happy Thanksgiving!

While the service from the company was quite courteous and professional, I was not satisfied with the quality or quantity of the arrangement that I purchased. They advertised a $60 value however some of the flowers were not nearly fresh and the overall presentation was not anywhere near a $60 value, I would say it was closer to a $25 value which is what I prayed for the Groupon. I guess as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

I paid $24. for $70. worth of flowers. I got $20. worth of droopy looking flowers. I was so disappointed I almost trashed the flowers, but I needed something to show for the long walk there. There was an $8. delivery fee, even though I picked up, I still had to pay it in addtion to the extra cost over the $24. I had to order online and the flowers allotted to Groupon were $28. and change. I feel ripped off.
