About Woodland Animal Hospital (IN)

Dr. Kurt Phillips and the staff at Woodland Animal Hospital work to foster healthy, lifelong relationships between pets and their human parents with a variety of services. Beyond expert veterinary treatments that prevent potential maladies or cure illnesses, the office staff happily watches over pets during daycare and boarding visits, which feature private lodges and cabins, bunkhouses for active and social pets, and kitty cottages—complete with four levels of living space and a playroom. Onsite groomers maintain pups' adorable swagger with hair trimming and shampooing services. For more hands-on parents, the office's rentable washing facilities and hypoallergenic tear-free shampoos foster calm bath times free of daring tub escapes and breath-holding contests with rubber duckies.

Wonderful experience, my dog was very happy and comfortable. This was the best grooming service we ever received for him. The staff was simply outstanding, and the deal was impeccable. Thumbs Up.

I boarded my diabetic dog for 10 days while out of town. It took me a while to find the appropriate boarding pet service as I wanted to make sure my dog was well taken care of. What better company than an actual veterinarian to make sure medicine is given within the appropriate dosage? I also asked prior buying the groupon if they were taking an animal with diabetis. I get a call the day before my return from a nurse stating that my dog has been convulsing throughout the night was now irresponsive. This clinic closes at 6pm everyday and not open until the next morning at 6am. We hope that they have given the required insulin dosage and we are not sure that they checked if my dog ate prior to administrating the insulin (this information was given on the first day our dog arrived there, insulin had to be given after she had eaten). My daughters being nurses themselves questioned the given treatment and got a vague response from the veterinarian. They "tried" to reanimate my dog for most of the day with no improvement. We received many phone calls from the veterinarian who wanted us to decide in 5 min want to do do with my dog. She said that they were not able to keep my dog overnight and we had to make arrangements to get her out there, if they were to help, it'd cost $1000 to bring her to an animal hospital, you know, the ones that really care about animals. We made the family decision to put my dog out of her misery and euthanized her before we could even say goodbye one last time. I don't wish this upon anyone. If you love your pet, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
