Warrior Boxing, Downers Grove

Wrong address listed. Eventually tracked it down to a new location via internet searches. Went to that location and didn't exist there anymore. I had to finally give up since they moved to a different city suburb and was too far for me to travel to.

I have nothing bad to say about Champions Boxing, it's just not what I expected. I went to the orientation, but will not be returning for boxing lessons -- I was under the impression it would be more like kickboxing and boxing classes similiar to what workout centers have. I'm disappointed that the Groupon didn't explain that we would have to purchase boxing gloves, and right after buying the Groupon, I was notified that Champions Boxing moved. The new location is further than what I would travel to for a workout. Had I known about the boxing gloves and the move beforehand, I would not have purchased the Groupon

Had originally bought the Groupon because it was very close to my home. Then they moved locations, which is a 25 minute drive for me. Also was unaware that I would have to purchase boxing gloves for an additional $35 fee, which was not disclosed on the Groupon. The guy there that did the orientation though was very nice.

Coach Bob has an excellent state-of-the-art facility with quality, dedicated coaches. He has a heart of gold and a remarkable work ethic. He trains his boxers along side the working stiffs who are trying to get (back) into shape. What a fantastic motivating technique! You will not be disappointed if you join this gym. You will probably feel like you joined a new family.
