Though he seems quite at home among the advanced tools at his Jersey Smiles dental office, Dr. Shankar Iyer is no stranger to the world outside. The jet-setting dentist has made a name for himself as an international speaker, having lectured on subjects such as implant and prosthetic dentistry across Europe, South America, and Asia. When he isn’t publishing peer-reviewed articles or patiently autographing tooth fairies’ prized collections, Dr. Iyer joins Drs. Preeti Iyer and Devika Bhola—as well as a dedicated staff of dental assistants—at his offices in Elizabeth and Jersey City. Together, the three dentists clean and correct smiles with treatments that encompass the many subsets of their field, from dental implants to prosthodontics and smile design.
