While most of his peers were concentrating on their senior year of high school, 17-year-old Steven Bengelsdorf kept an eye toward the future and accepted a spot in Boston University’s prestigious six-year medical program. Fifteen years later, the gifted youth has transformed into an experienced physician who oversees a staff of nurses and medical aestheticians at The Franklin Center for Skin & Laser Surgery.

Dr. Bengelsdorf and his staff believe that minimally invasive treatments—chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and light-based therapy, to name a few—can rejuvenate the face just as effectively as surgical procedures and bobbing for live electrical wires.
