Some salons have a "snooty" atmosphere, which is fine if you feel comfortable in that environment, but Hairacy on 44th was so far removed from stuck-up. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Barb is the sweetest lady. Rachel did a FANTASTIC job for my friend's day of beauty. I have nothing but good things and praise to say about this salon and the people inside. Very, very happy.

I purchased the groupon for my daughter. It was to include a haircut, deep condition, color and style. My minor daughter was told that there would be a "small" extra fee for color correction. I was charged $54.00 extra dollars. I was not warned about this extra fee in advance and believe that is was excessive, to say the least.

It took the two of us 2 hours to get our hair cut. The stylist had to keep leaving to answer the phone. It was getting to be ridiculous. I asked for my hair to be thinned and she said I didn't need it. I also didn't get the deep conditioning treatment. She gave me a sample of shampoo that I'm not going to use instead. I'm really disappointed, I don't plan on going back and won't recommend the salon to my friends.
