We were disappointed that Sam had reduced the ice cream menu to only a few items. But on the bright side the portion size was good.

Poor, poor, poor. I will never go again. My daughter and I went for ice cream--wanted a banana split--no bananas; wanted a snickers sundae--no caramel topping; requested Hudsonville ice cream--received it, but the ice cream was grainy and seemed like it had been defrosted and refrozen, sent it back; got soft ice cream to go--no chocolate, few flavors. Was horribly disappointed--poor service--and we will never go again. I wish that we could get back the $5 we spent on the Groupon. This is the first time I have been disappointed in a Groupon.

Would NEVER pay 5 dollard for your sundae, so you jacked up your price for the coupon...soo not really a deal

They were understaffed and the employee at the window kept coming back and telling us "I'll be right back" and then she'd disappear. They were out of several flavors of hand dipped. No mint chip, no cookie dough. Their sundaes, such as a turtle or tin roof, only come in one size - size extra pricey - 4-5 dollars. Their soft serve ice cream claim-to-fame is many flavors. I watched her pull up some vanilla soft serve, dribble some chocolate syrup on it and mix it up to make chocolate soft serve. It was barely beige colored - not much chocolate flavor. The amaretto was barely discernable. There was a sign on the window that said something to the effect of, "Due to a printing error, Groupons will be charged an extra 10%" - or something like that. Not a great sign to read while we waited 15 minutes to get served our second or third choices of less-than-impresssive ice cream. Just on a personal note, my husband and I had picked up 2 developmentally impaired adults and had treated them to lunch. The plan was to come to this place for dessert and use our Groupon. They have a bad time making up their mind at baseline and as the "we don't have that" comments added up, it just got to be a totally frustrating encounter. I felt like they were constantly uncomfortable. Won't go back.
