In an interview with the Long Beach Herald, Aura at the Beach Salon & Spa's owner Christopher Guardino characterized his business as a dream come true. A native of Long Island's south shore, Guardino relishes the chance to combine his enthusiasm for hairstyling with his love for the beach. Along with cutting, coloring, and teaching hair how to read, Guardino uses his 17 years of styling experience to help cancer survivors to regain their looks and confidence—there's a private room in the salon for those who wear hairpieces. Aside from hair services, the salon and spa offers a variety of beauty and relaxation treatments, including makeup application, waxing, massage, and facials.
