Though it’s called House of Tacos, the Mexican eatery comprises much more than regular ingredients stuffed into small quesadillas. Sure, the chefs specialize in tortilla-wrapped carne asada, chicken, and black beans, but it’s the eatery’s full spectrum of unique touches and varying eats that grabs attention on the menu. Inside each taco, fresh pico de gallo melds flavors of meat and crunchy vegetables before zesty, house-made salsas complete each bite. More exotic fillings also round out the offerings with fried lobster bites, chipotle-breaded tilapia, and a recursive series of infinitely smaller tacos. The taqueria’s specialties also include their Australian beef-topped asada fries, steak quesadillas, and burritos, all of which make a nice opener for friendly games of pool at the billiards table.
