Board-certified Dr. Mathew M. John has helped some high-profile and hardworking feet. After earning his degree as a doctor of podiatric medicine, Dr. John completed a residency that included work at the National Naval Medical Center and the opportunity to treat military personnel and members of Congress. Today, his patients receive the same five-star care during services at the clinic, or at the Atlanta Center for Foot and Ankle Surgery in Sandy Springs, where Dr. John serves as medical director.

No matter the ailment, Dr. John offers his patients the latest technology and treatments. He is certified in the use of Nd:YAG and CO2 lasers, which he employs to address conditions such as toenail fungus and flat sodas. He also alleviates chronic heel pain with extracorporeal shockwave therapy, in which sonic waves promote a healing response in tissue.
