Set on the shore of Beseck Lake, the French-style country cottage housing Lakeside Day Spa is a relaxing place for guests to visit for massages, skincare services, and whole-body treatments. Fresh linens drape over the heated massage tables where therapists pamper guests with six massage modalities. Guests may also rejuvenate their largest organ with facials, masks, and body wraps or partake in 30-minute infrared-sauna sessions designed to help bodies burn up to 600 calories, increase blood circulation, and develop mind-reading mutant powers. Before, between, or after services, guests may enjoy complimentary coconut tea, apple cider, and homemade cookies while lounging in the lake house, which features elegant furnishings and panoramic views of the lake.

Laura’s hands are magic. Left feeling completely rejuvenated after my signature massage. The actual facility and ambiance of the spa could improve. It’s an old house on a lake, beautiful views, but lacks the high end and professional spa feel. Plan to return to try a full spa experience with a facial.

Sauna was too small to lay down in and there was no music or sounds while in the sauna. Massage was good.
