Color My Nails Salon, Midvale

I bought a groupon for gel nails but decided to get a pedicure also while I was there. I was in the shop for more than 2 hours! They seemed to be low on inventory and both colors that I chose for my feet and hands were more than halfway gone in the bottle. She had to thin out the color for my toes and even then it was too goopy! I probably should've chosen another color. The gel that she did on my hands started to wear away at the tips in a couple of days. This has never happened before in my experience with gel. The nail tech was nice, but she was VERY slow. I came in at the same time with two other women for both mani and pedi and they were both done before me. I wouldn't go back.

They were very quick to get me in and the nail tech was fabulous!

Although my tech was really nice and friendly, I came home with the worse manicure/pedicure I have ever had. Her work was sloppy which I understood from her is the way she does her services. Although she cleaned the polish after she made the mess, I ended up with the polish around the cuticles. My polish was so thick that it would not dry. In fact it took over an hour and a half and by then I had smudges and holes in the polish on my hand and toes that could not be fixed. I really couldn't do anything for 2 hours for fear I would smudge more. When it did dry it looked like I had sand in the polish. It was horrible. My daughter was amazed that it was a professional job.

I had a mani/pedi by Misty. She was very professional, but friendly. The gel polish lasted longer than any I've had previously. I would definitely recommend her.
