The Groupon promotional value cannot be used towards only the exam, you must also purchase their overpriced glasses, which it does say in their fine print and would be fine except their frames are extremely overpriced - for example, Banana Republic frames that retail for ~$110 are priced here at $249. Clearly they are making it seem like this Groupon is a great deal when in reality they simply double the cost of frames to recoup the money you "save" with the Groupon.
I had both an active and expired Groupon here. It clearly states in the terms of Groupon that once expired, the amount you paid for the expired Groupon can be used as store credit. The office manager absolutely refused to allow me to apply the price of my expired Groupon towards my total, even after being shown their Terms of Use, and told me to "call Groupon and take it up with them."
There was an extremely long wait after I arrived on time for my appointment.
They were pushy in up-selling me, both with exam (telling me I could go blind if I did not consent and pay an additional $65 for a dilated eye exam, even though I am asymptomatic) and lens type/frames, to the point that I refused to buy the glasses and just put the value of the Groupon towards my exam.

The prices for the frames was way overpriced. You can get the same products online for cheaper. The doctor that the page claims to have is a woman, but when I went it was a man. He was pretty insensitive and made comments about my eye wondering. Then they made me take pictures of my eye for an extra $45 before even telling me what was going on. I had signed to decline the service, but it was still done. They claim it was needed for the prescription. When we saw the final bill for the frames and glasses, and didn't want to purchase, they became very rude. I would never recommend this for anyone. We ended up paying the full price for an exam, so I could have taken my buisness elsewhere.

Receptionist was very nice and Dr. Napolitano was very thorough with her exam on my eyes. She made me understand exactly what my problem was.

I feel that they manipulated the price of the glasses etc, to compensate the use of my Groupon.
