Julie Cannon credits her success in capturing in-the-moment shots of fiancés, families, and furry friends to the level of comfort she can achieve with her subjects. “I place value on small group settings, and getting to know people to their core,” the dedicated photographer says. This open-hearted approach to picture taking has served her well since her recent move to Nashville, where Julie continues to forge warm relationships as she captures simple, candid moments in vivid color. In addition to candid and posed portraiture, Julie runs introductory and advanced classes for those who'd like to preserve some memories of their own without relying on cumbersome full-body stencils.
