Mary is an experienced nail technician, versed in procedures ranging from dipping fingers into softening paraffin wax to applying fiberglass faux nails to villains’ eyelids as they sleep.
During her popular 30-minute shellac manicures, she first shapes nails and corrals cuticles with a series of precision snips. Next, she applies a durable, glossy shellac coating, which wears like a polish but strengthens nails and remains chip free for up to two weeks. Basic pedicures generally take 45 minutes and groom lower digits with OPI polish and botanically based products.
