Dental Magic

The dentists at Dental Magic aren't just highly trained professionals. They also exhibit a genuine compassion for their patients and the community at large. Through their community-outreach program, they donate services to disabled, medically compromised, or elderly people who are unable to afford extensive dental care. They have also sponsored a medical mission to Sierra Leone and regularly tour local schools to teach useful oral-hygiene skills, such as how to brush properly or weave a spare gym uniform out of floss.

In his profile, Dr. Aaron Appell says that his "favorite part of being a dentist is taking a fearful patient and alleviating all of their fears of dentistry." To that end, he and the two other doctors work to build long-term relationships with their clients, carefully customizing treatments according to their specialties. Michael Wurbel, DDS, has extensive training in the surgical placement and restoration of dental implants, and Ashwini Joshi, MDS, DDS, specializes in orthodontics. Her research on the topic of mandibular growth made her the 2012 recipient of the American Association of Orthodontists' prestigious Milo Hellman Research Award.
