Joan has a big personality- and I love it- just not for massage. I'm the kind of person who needs silence during a massage in order to actually feel relaxed. Once I realized she's a talker, I just chimed in because I knew I wouldn't be able to focus on the massage anyway- so why not enjoy the conversation. If you're the type who loves chatting during a massage, then you'll like Joan's style. Yeah- she swears a lot- but I don't care about that. She has a lot of knowledge to share and is a lot of fun. I'm only giving 2 stars because after my massage, I didn't really feel like I'd had one at all, because I was too distracted by the talking. And I supposed that's probably the most important thing about the massage, if you're giving ratings.

I got this massage for my pregnant sister-in-law. She mentioned that the massage was lovely, but the chatty nature really took away from the relaxation she was able to have. She hasn't had time "off" in so long that I'm disappointed she had that experience - especially after the masseuse named that she's known for being chatty and told her to let her know if she wanted her to stop talking (which she tried to do kindly, but looks like it failed). Thank you so much for the massage! I think this information may help the business and future customers/returning customers further enjoy their experience.
