THE OWNER OVERCHARGED MY CARD $80. The Esthetician quoted me $50 for their February special. I gave her a $20 cash tip for a great job. When I received my credit card statement $80 had been charged to my card instead of the agreed $50. The owner was rude and hung up on me...when I told her the Esthetician had quoted $50 and to call her to verify my understanding. She said, "I am the owner and not responsible for employees". Crazy.

The massage therapist was pleasant but lacked skill and it felt that her overall attitude was that of apathy for her profession. She admitted that being a massage therapist wasn't her career goal and I have to say that unfortunately that transferred through her hands. I am likely to recommend this facility for other services but not for massage. I wasn't able to keep my second of two appointments because of a family emergency and I greatly appreciated the owner's understanding of my situation and being so polite, but I wasn't able to reschedule before the groupon expired and I have to admit that it was strongly due to the fact that I really wasn't looking forward to another session. As a massage professional and business owner, I would strongly recommend that if the owner values a positive customer appreciation of massage services that she either find another therapist that is dedicated to the massage profession and has a passion for her work or talks with the current therapist to see if there is anything that can be done to improve her attitude toward her job. Also, I think more training would be good for the current therapist as her flow and consistency with the techniques was unfortunately not as relaxing an experience as hoped for. Perhaps I caught her in an off day, but if that is the case...it was REALLY OFF.Again, I found the atmosphere of the facility on a whole to be very nice. One last recommendation would be to perhaps have a couple of lamps that offer a softer light in the room as fluorescent lights didn't provide a relaxing atmosphere. If that was due to the problem of having too many sexual advances being made at the therapist (which the therapist admitted to) then perhaps a better up-front presentation of what will not be tolerated and what is to be expected should be employed. I just wanted to share that it was not as relaxing with the bright lights shining. That is better suited for a sports massage or medical massage venue.
