A-1 Fitness Center

A-1 Fitness Center’s owner, Ryan Griffith, has more than 15 years of martial-arts experience, during which he racked up a second-degree black belt in MMA and a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. At A-1 Fitness, he helms a team that offers a variety of programs to help clients tone their bodies or train for fitness, self-defense, and competition. Their adult MMA program blends kickboxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and weapons training, and kids' martial-arts programs focus on self-defense while also stressing important concepts such as health, respect, and self-control. In additional studios, yoga instructors guide students through centering poses, and Zumba instructors help clients burn calories through dance moves.
