About Duel Piano Bar

Joe Marchetti's passion for music began early. By grade school, he had already taught himself piano, guitar, harmonica, and accordion. Anthony DeCarolis also discovered his musical talent before middle school, playing his first tunes on guitar and piano at age 8. Together, "Tony T," "Wildman Joe," and other in-house musicians showcase their lifelong love of music by playing live at Duel Piano Bar.

During their fast-paced, interactive performances, the pianists accept tips along with guests' requests for tunes, which are culled from a repertoire of more than 2,000 songs. When audience members in the 125-seat venue decide they don't like what's being played, the duel begins as Tony and Joe accept higher tips and requests for a different song. They keep the party going until 2 a.m. every Wednesday–Saturday night, whether by engaging crowds in sing-alongs, inviting audience members and staff onstage, or conjuring the ghost of Beethoven to play a guest solo.

Piano music begins at around 8:30 pm. It gets pretty crowded after that time.
