About The Bead Studio

The artists and affiliates at the nonprofit organization The Bead Studio get the creative gears turning in creative minds with bead related classes and events that focus on the art and culture of beading for youth and adults of all ages. The Bead Studio hosts seasonal festivals spotlighting a slew of artisan bead vendors to raise money for their mission and benefit other philanthropic bead related organizations such as Beads of Courage and BeadforLife. More than a dozen types of workshops led by instructors with impressive portfolios also benefit these causes, covering kid-centric beading techniques and business-related tips for adults wishing to start their own bead shop or kids looking to barter with the local ice-cream man.

Renee was very through in explaining the types of tools to use in making of earrings she was very patient and worked with each student. Renee was always prepared. She also explained how to put the jewelry together and you get to take home what you make. I would definitely recommend the bead studio

Renee is a wonderful woman who guarantees your experience is amazing. My daughter and I had a great day together and with other students. I wore the jewelry I made to church and work and got so many compliments. I recommend this class to anyone wanting to start or refresh their beading passion.

It was a wonderful experience. The number of people was great, the conversation was great and the entire set up was great. I was very new to beading so this was surely a test. Well, I passed the test and enjoyed the instructors as well as the wonderful women who attended the class. I hope to meet up with some of those same women in the future since we did bond and exchange information.
