Providence may be the capital of the smallest state in the country, but it has plenty of things to do for urban adventurers. Despite its metro feel, there are a few outdoor things to do in Providence. Trivia buffs will enjoy a stroll around the city to seek out the places that movies such as "There's Something About Mary," "Dumb and Dumber," and "Federal Hill" were filmed. The Woonasquatucket River Bikeway offers scenic biking trails, while the Providence River Walk is well suited for an afternoon jog.
