The salt cave is amazing. Great energy. It is a good idea to wear loose and warm clothing. I was comfortable in a sweat suit. There’s a bathroom there to change if you’re wearing summer clothes outside. The salt on the floor was a little sharp on the feet; I was glad I wore socks. Next time I’ll bring noise-canceling headphones or ear plugs. There’s a guided meditation, but I would prefer to just recline in silence. I’m definitely coming back. Can’t beat the price with a Groupon. There are many eateries within walking distance, too.
Lastly, there’s no parking on State St, so be prepared to walk up to a few blocks from the cave, and allow time to load the app for the parking fee. We paid for three hours, which allowed 45 mins for the session, then lunch. It was close and when we got back to the car, there were two officers handing tickets on cars with expired time. Just pay for more time than you think you’ll need.
