Toledo Guide

With a large number of world-famous attractions, Toledo has no shortage of activities to fight off pangs of boredom. This Toledo guide will cover just a few of the new adventures available at old favorite spots that provide special events year-round to keep the crowds coming back. Since the glass industry is part of the soul of Toledo, things to do at the Toledo Museum of Art often center on the beauty of glass. Just walking through the transparent, curving Glass Pavilion may be enough to give anyone a new sense of respect for their phone's screen, but for a hands-on experience, drop by on Friday evenings or Saturday afternoons to craft a custom glass creation. Participants are invited to pick up what they make after a 24-hour finishing process, making this an attractive Toledo deal for creative types. Of course, no guide to Toledo would be complete without mentioning the colorful Toledo Zoo. While going to the zoo may not sound like it would top a list of grown-up things to do in Toledo, this modern zoo offers everything from wine tasting during the summer to bridal shows in the fall. For those who want to sit back and relax, consider catching a show at the Stranahan Theater. Although this 2,424-seat theater tends to be known for concert hall classics like opera and musicals, they also serve up comedy shows and rock concerts. And with a free, lighted lot that accommodates 1,200 cars, concert-goers won’t have to drive around for 15 minutes trying to find a spot. As anyone can see from this quick Toledo guide, the Glass City’s local attractions are worth more than one visit. Residents and visitors should treat themselves to a few of their special events.

Admission for 3 people Valid Any Day
One of the best days our family has had, so much fun! The drive-through and walking park were both fantastic. Plan on spending additional money for some hands-on experiences and interaction but not outrageous for the price. That being said, not everyone in our group did every experience but made choices. The staff was very friendly and there is a cute gift shop. We were all ages from 5 to senior citizens, plenty of benches for rest. Bring water or buy in beginning as none is sold throughout park. We bought 3 tickets on Groupon but added people day of on the park's website.
