About Against Da Grill

At Against Da Grill, the cooks make everything to order, whether they're cracking three eggs for steak omelets or grilling up half-pound, handmade Black Angus burgers. As menu-creator Kurron Mangin explained to the Staten Island Advance, it’s all part of their mission to "bring fresh food that's a little different to the neighborhood." He and his team fold up two-dozen types of wraps and assemble unique sandwiches such as the Broad Street Bully, which piles fire-grilled chicken breast, romaine lettuce, parmesan, and Caesar dressing between toasted garlic bread. And while the cooks specialize in grilling Caribbean jerk chicken and juicy burgers, they also whip up corned beef hash, waffles, and hotcakes at any time of day for diners philosophically opposed to lunch.

Please note that Against Da Grill does not accept reservations, and that waits may be long during high-volume times, such as on the weekends.
