Buzz Burgers, Barrels, and Beers
Four cheeses melt inside a beef patty topped with bacon, aioli, and secret sauce. Christened the Blastoff Burger, it's only available on Buzz Burgers, Barrels, and Beers' secret menu, reports RedEye. Yet Buzz's true stars are its non-secret burgers, assembled by executive chef Leonardo Del Valle from local produce and grass-fed beef from Missouri and Wisconsin.
Jalapeño aioli coats the ground pork and chorizo blend of Leonardo's Alamo burger, while his aptly named Ramen burger sports Kobe beef and sriracha sauce between a housemade ramen-noodle bun. Though all upscale, not every burger is quite as exotic. Charred balsamic onions, for instance, top the American's certified Angus beef, and cumin spices a veggie burger made with black beans and green bell peppers.
Other inventive bar food rounds out the menu, from truffled mac and cheese to mussels flavored with Blue Moon beer. Currently stocked with organic Guatemalan coffee, Buzz has a selection of wines, whiskeys, and more than 100 craft beers. But that collection won't suddenly turn the joint into a sports bar—its two TVs only play classic black-and-white movies, rather than 19th-century football highlights on ESPN Antique.
