$20 for a Fall Activities Pass from September 28 through November 3 and a Pumpkin ($37.95 Value)

From September 28 through November 3, guests gain unlimited access to the festival’s winding corn maze, the eight creepy attractions at Insanity Point, and more than 40 autumn activities, including hayrides, the jumping pillows, and the new barnyard ball zone (a $34.95 value). On their first visit, guests get the "Lovin'" pass with pay-as-you-go upgrades, with options such as shooting paintballs and rock-wall climbing or sipping on hot cocoa and eating kettle corn while mining for gemstones. On their first visit, guests can also take home one pumpkin (a $3 value). The farm will be closed October 2–4 and October 31, and the haunted attractions begin at 8 p.m. on select nights, starting October 5th.

Cornbelly's and Insanity Point

Autumn has some of the best seasonal activities of the year, from crunching through the leaves to find the perfect pumpkin to holding close to your loved ones while running through the eerie turns of a haunted house. That’s why when Brett and Nicole Herbst first started making their corn mazes—which they say once held a Guinness world record—they didn’t stick to just one activity. They decided to fill their farm with a celebration of the whole harvest season.

During the day, guests can partake of the farm’s more than 40 activities and events, including squeal-filled pig races, corn and pumpkin cannons, and a Halloween trick-or-treat parade. The adjoining corn mazes, where guests will pick their President in this year's election-themed design, are cut into 12 acres of murmuring stalks, offering quick, easy paths for little ones, complex designs for the ultimate adventurers, and a haunted nighttime excursion guided only by a flashlight. At night, in an area isolated from all the family fun, gleefully terrified screams drift from Insanity Point, which incorporates evil clowns, the sensation of being buried alive, and an abandoned farmhouse where dentists will try and talk to you even though you obviously can’t talk back.

The Groupon Guide to: Spotted or Striped?

Some animals have stripes that allow them to camouflage seamlessly into the tall grasses, whereas others have evolved to have spots that allow them to disappear into the leafy jungle canopy. Avoid getting confused with this helpful list of striped and/or spotted animals:

Leopards: Spots
Tigers: Stripes
Zebras: Stripes
Giraffes: Spot-shaped stripes
Panthers: Just black leopards with black spots that are hard to see on their also-black fur
Okapi: Half stripes, half boring
Cheetahs: Impossible to tell—a cheetah in motion is invisible to the human eye until it is upon you
Dog Named Spot: Neither, the dog is named after a famous dog general

What rare animal has stripes that look like spots?
