Crab & Beer 30 Fest

During its nation-crossing 15-city tour, Crab & Beer 30 Fest challenges attendees' mallet-wielding skills—and stomach capacities—with an endless avalanche of fresh crabs. Visitors crack open dungeness, Maryland blue, and king crabs, which spill their succulent meat onto plates alongside unlimited portions of corn on the cob and roasted red potatoes. Grills flare as cooks char barbecue, burgers, and hot dogs, which diners may also choose to tenderize with their crab mallets. More than 100 beers continuously fill souvenir glasses, buoying seafood and spirits to a high tide. When it's time to rest between bites, arts and crafts, live music, and children's entertainment keep the fest pumped with activity.
