Every Thursday night from October to April, male and female fighters battle for the title of toughest during Thursday Night at the Fights. A lineup of more than 50 fighters from Anchorage and beyond trade jabs inside the Thursday Night ring, both in traditional boxing matches and MMA contests. The weekly events aren't limited to professional fighters; aspiring athletes and newcomers to the scene can also sign up to test their strength against one another. Each event includes seven bouts separated by two intermissions, where audiences can grab a drink, discuss the last match, and reflect on how intermissions are totally like the commercial breaks of life.
