According to a report from the United States Department of Agriculture, nearly 49 million Americans—about 14.5% of American households—were food-insecure at some point during 2010, meaning they did not have consistent access to enough food to remain healthy and active. Feeding America helps provide fresh produce and nutritious meals to families struggling with hunger through mobile pantries and food banks, food stamps, disaster relief, children's free-meal programs, and advocacy efforts.

Last year, Feeding America assisted in distributing more than 3 billion pounds of food to more than 37 million people at food banks, soup kitchens, and pantries. Feeding America's expansive system spans more than 200 food banks and 61,000 distribution agencies across all 50 states. The magnitude of the network helps allow it to efficiently provide meals at a cost of $1 for every eight meals. Feeding America can therefore help feed a family of four for an entire week for $11.

Join G-Team and donate $11 to help provide meals to families struggling with hunger. If G-Team members raise $2,200, then Feeding America can help provide 17,600 meals among 200 families of four for two weeks, with all donations matched up to $250,000 by Pepsi. Every year, Feeding America supplies nutritious food to more than 37 million Americans, including 14 million children and 3 million seniors. The organization distributes the 3 billion pounds of food through an expansive network of more than 200 food banks and 61,000 agencies across the country.
