Boot camps are a quick way to get in shape for upcoming marathons or adrenaline-pumping prison escapes. Jump the fence with today's Groupon: for $40, you get four weeks of boot camp (up to a $150 value) at Indy Boot Camps. This Groupon is valid at Indy Boot Camps' Eagle Creek or Castleton/Fishers/Geist locations. It is recommended that classes be taken in a consecutive four-week span.

Indy Boot Camps' experienced health gurus specialize in intense workouts with built-in modifications and exercise alternatives that make routines adaptable for all ages and fitness levels. Beginning with warm-up cardio and stretching, each one-hour session incorporates a body-busting mix of bosu-ball exercises, circuit and interval training, and body weight movements. Classes meet three times per week, giving students plenty of time to shed pounds, tone muscles, and boost their energy levels for catching cunning roadrunners without investing in rocket-powered roller skates. The Eagle Creek location meets Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m., and the Castleton/Fishers/Geist location meets Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., or 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

With an emphasis on the group experience, Indy Boot Camps' expert fitness coaches lead a number of partner- and team-based exercises that heighten the encouraging social atmosphere. Though neither location has a dedicated child sitter, both boot-camp sessions feature a children's play area where on-the-go parents can keep an eye on their kids to ensure they stay safe and not engaged in mischievous activities such as impersonating police officers.

Another class is winding down at Indy Boot Camps and owner Tod Esquivel informs the group that they are going to finish with group sit-ups. Some people groan, others laugh, but everyone ultimately squeezes together, locks arms, and begins doing sit-ups in unison. This exercise exemplifies the challenging but fun exercises at Indy Boot Camps. Esquivel is a fan of bodyweight exercises, interval training, partner exercises, and the aforementioned group exercises, and amplifies their results with physio balls, heavy ropes, and BOSU balls. His facility stages indoor and outdoor boot camps and features a children’s play area that is in sight of the workout area, so parents can keep an eye on their kids and kids can keep on eye on their parent’s alarmingly expanding biceps.

The Groupon Guide to: Breaking Up

As scientists continue to debate the existence of true love (as opposed to false love and true hate), regular folks continue to hunt recklessly for an emotional connection. To help sever an existing relationship and find a truer one, here's the eight most popular ways to break up:

  • Break the news gently at a candlelit dinner by regurgitating your entire meal as a symbolic rejection of your relationship.
  • Text "BREAK UP" to 622-22-22 to make your relationship a thing of the past!
  • Send a gift basket filled with unwanted treats, such as peanut-brittle cans filled with snakes and brittle snakes filled with peanut cans.
  • Write a rap "diss track" comparing your soon-to-be ex to both defeated Civil War general Ambrose Burnside and the confusing final season of Roseanne.
  • Instead of the tired "throwing the clothes onto the front lawn" tactic, pick up handfuls of grass and throw them on their folded clothes.
  • Whenever they are around, hide under a rug.
  • When they're sleeping, sneak out of their house but leave a small bonsai tree in their shoe to wish them luck on their next romance.
  • Instead of breaking up, silently resent your partner forever until you explode into a cloud of green smoke and confetti. They'll get the picture.

How can breaking up prevent you from exploding into a cloud of gas?
