$10 for $20 Worth of Butcher-Shop Meat

The shop’s menu includes ground beef ($2.69/lb.), Atlantic salmon ($11.99/lb.), and pork steaks ($1.69/lb.).

John's Butcher Shoppee

Most butcher shops cut your meat for you, but few give you the skills to cut it yourself. For the experts at John’s Butcher Shoppee, sharing their skills is just a part of serving their community, something they’ve been doing for more than 38 years. The expert butchers set up shop at local Cabela’s locations, where they lead sessions on how to process deer into steaks, sausages, and ground meat. Back at their two locations, customers load up on homemade sausage, tender pork chops, and exotic meats such as elk, bison, and ostrich. The owners of the family business are often behind the counter, and take the time to cut or karate-chop a steak or pork chop to a customer’s desired size for no extra charge. Regular customers also take note of the butcher’s weekly meat raffle, dubbed Meat-O, wherein one lucky customer wins $25 in free meat to be served or bathed in however they see fit.

The Groupon Guide to: Using a Map

In this modern age of technology reliance, most people have completely forgotten how to use a good old-fashioned paper map. Here’s a quick refresher:

Find a place that sells maps. Maps are probably sold at like a map store? Look it up on your phone.

Buy a map at the place that sells the maps. Make sure you buy a good map. Use your phone to see who makes the best maps.

Unfold the map. This is the worst part. Put your phone in your pocket or your mouth for a minute while you use both hands to open up the stupid map.

Look at the map. This is the other worst part. You can only look at the map. It doesn’t do anything when you touch it or ask it to play the songs. It just sits there.

Go to the place on the map. Once you get there, use your phone to reflect sunlight onto the map so it burns. It burns away. It goes away. It doesn’t come back. The fire makes it nothing. Take a picture of the nothingness with your phone.

What is the most flammable kind of map? Find out in today's Groupon Guide.
