At the McKinney location, camps are held for 3 hours each day from March 10–14; morning sessions run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and afternoon sessions run from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. At Lewisville, camps are held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following weekend days: March 9, March 15, and March 16.
During five-day spring-break technology day camps, kids try five different classes, each filled with activities such as robot-building and robot-battling, computer programming, game creation, Wii tournaments, and Minecraft. Participants work together to experience new things during time off from school.
Kids Robotech Club
Playing with Legos is a classic pastime, but at Kids Robotech Club, Legos do more than pass time: they help kids build skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. During year-round classes, students learn about gear ratios, locomotion, and energy as they assemble robots using Lego Mindstorms products.
