Massage can relieve muscle pain caused by repetitive everyday motions such as typing, lifting boxes, or slapping a hysterical houseplant. Support your sinews with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $39 for a 60-minute reflexology treatment (a $50 value) and an ear-candling treatment (a $35 value; an $85 total value)
  • $45 for a 60-minute massage (up to a $95 value)

During the reflexology treatment, a therapist rhythmically massages the hands and feet to target points that correspond to different bodily ailments. She then moves on to ear candling, an ancient practice that removes wax buildup by creating a vacuum within the ear.

For the massage option, customers can choose from Swedish, deep-tissue, hot-stone, sports, and prenatal techniques.

Knot a Problem

Before Lori Lyons became a licensed massage therapist, she was a massage patient herself. Thus she understands that the best massage therapists don’t just address problem areas, they also understand the deep connection between mind and body and educate their patients so they make informed decisions regarding their treatment plans. To help inform each client, Lori pulls from certifications in both craniosacral massage and myofascial release and her ongoing studies in anatomy and various massage modalities. She uses Swedish techniques to encourage relaxation, deep-tissue techniques to address severe tension, and water-heated stones to loosen sinews but keep them from floating away. In addition to easing physical pain, these methods can help strengthen the immune system, increase flexibility, and aid the body's natural healing processes. They may also be combined with Lori’s other specialties, which include ear candling and reflexology.

The Groupon Guide to: Things That Are Safe or Not Safe to Put in Your Mouth

Everything looks delicious these days, but only some things are actually safe to put in your mouth. Here's a guide to things that look good enough to eat:

Marbles: Safe
Reason: Rubbing marbles against your teeth will wear them down to rounded nubs that feel much better against the tongue.

Sponge: Not Safe
Reason: You'll put a nice, dry sponge in there, and when it comes out it's going to be full of saliva and completely unsanitary to wash dishes with.

Laundry-Detergent Pods: Not Safe
Reason: This yummy candy burns the mouth.

Universal Remote: Safe
Reason: Thousands of uniquely flavored buttons will make your taste buds feel like they’re at the greatest circus of their lives.

Bread: Not Safe
Reason: The worst hazard of them all—there is no way to breathe through bread.

Are there any foods that don't pose an immediate choking hazard?
