Unlike french fries, sushi will never get grease stains on a favorite blouse or get stuck in a new pair of fingerless gloves. Don’t let cravings get in the way of couture with today's Groupon: for $15, you get $30 worth of maki and sushi at Owl Station Japanese Bistro.

The chefs at Owl Station Japanese Bistro flaunt their creatively named and artistically crafted maki dishes on a menu enhanced by fresh sushi, sashimi, and kitchen-seared entrees. Red Sox fans can pledge their loyalty to the team with its eponymous maki boasting colorful coins of lobster, asparagus, avocado, and tobiko smushed together between veggies doused with spicy mayo ($10.95). The also sportingly named Homerun platters team three pieces of tuna sashimi or sushi with two cylinders of yellowtail sushi and six california rolls ($15.95). The spicy seafood udon's hearty noodles of wheat pasta undulate in ocean of fiery broth between bobbing veggies, seafood, and mini chopstick shipwrecks inserted by patrons ($13.95).

Owl Station Japanese Bistro

The chefs at Owl Station Japanese Bistro accent their recipes with splashes of ponzu sauce and rainbows of roe. In addition to nigiri sushi and sashimi, they craft an array of specialty rolls menu, such as the Red Sox maki with lobster and asparagus, and the Christmas maki, stuffed with shrimp tempura. The staff also prepare cooked entrees, such as udon noodle and rice dishes, as well as beef teriyaki and vegetable tempura. Paintings and decorative Japanese masks dot the dining room walls, which alternate between vibrant cobalt paint and exposed brick.

Reviews

Great presentation on the nigiri and sashimi dishes - more over the fish is super tender and they give you good portions.
