Redondo Beach Beauty College preps future beauty makers with classroom instruction and hands-on training. Cosmetology students prepare for state licensure with 1,600 hours of technical instruction and practical training. Aside from cosmetology training, other programs include instruction and experience for aspiring aestheticians, manicurists, and beauty instructors, and the staff can teach these programs in English, Vietnamese, or Spanish. The 4,880-square-foot facility hosts classes in lecture and lab rooms, workshop areas, and includes a student library, break room, and place to stash doll hair after it’s been removed from a sibling’s favorite Ken doll.
