The 22-minute tour soars south along the Intracoastal Waterway over historic sites such as the Nombre de Dios mission, Castillo de San Marcos, and the St. Augustine Lighthouse. Toward the end, the biplane drops down over Anastasia State Park to fly along the beach where the original barnstormers once landed. Passengers will be paired with another guest in the aircraft, which seats two side by side.

A lifelong admirer of these aircrafts, commercial and instrument rated pilot Dave Genet keeps his fully restored 1927 Waco plane airborne during year-round aerial tours of St. Augustine. The plane's open cockpit affords panoramic views of the Florida beaches where original barnstormers once landed, the manicured quads of Flagler College, and the Bridge of Lions, on which cars cross very slowly so they don't get eaten. For every ride in his FAA-approved plane, Dave lends his guests an authentic flying helmet and a choice of headgear or earplugs.
