At food festivals, people can sample food from many different restaurants without swiping shoppers' lunches from the food-court carousel. Giddy up with this Groupon.
$12 for One Admission to The Taste of North Pinellas ($25 Value)
From noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, more than 25 local eateries dole out complimentary samples of their appetizers, entrees, desserts, and wine from booths. The list of vendors includes eateries such as Positano's Ristorante Italiano, Beso Del Sol, Tarpon Turtle, Lee Roy Selmon's, Dimitri's on the Water, and Joey's Italian Ice.
The Taste of North Pinellas
Mouthwatering aromas waft from booths erected by local restaurants such as Lee Roy Selmon’s, Tiffany’s Restaurant, and J.C. Cravers during The Taste of North Pinellas—a daylong, air-conditioned, indoor event during which more than 20 participating eateries whip up bite-size portions of their signature dishes and drinks. After grazing on samples like wildebeests at the Serengeti migration's opening ball, attendees vote for their favorite concoction, bestowing the People’s Choice Award—sponsored by Tampa Bay Woman Newspaper—to the dish with the most votes. A portion of ticket proceeds will go to local charities, and live and silent auctions will benefit the Parks and Recreation Department.
