This place is great! I signed up for a level 2 class after completing level 1.

Four-hour session equips students with the knowledge to assemble fashionable fascinator hats with silk, feathers, netting, and hair clips

Animals utilize accessories in the wild to gain attention—peacocks flaunt plumage to attract mates, and gorillas keep pet kittens to appear sensitive to the ladies. Follow Mother Nature's example with today's Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $49 for a four-hour Fabulous Fascinators workshop for one (a $99 value)
  • $89 for the above workshop for two (a $198 value)

My mom and I have talked about it for years that we would love to learn to sew as we have a lot of beautiful material we've gathered over the years. The Make Den was a great opportunity to do so as the instructors are fun and provide detailed instructions in order to get the best results but make the experience enjoyable that you're eager to learn more. They have two sites to which you can take the 4 week beginner class which can occur on various days and times throughout the week as well as variety of advanced courses that an individual can take following the beginner 4 week course to continue to enhance your learning, so I'd highly recommend taking the class if you have that 'Project Runway' thirst to get your inner designer out, lol!

I attended the Fundamentals sewing class at the Dundas Street East location and it was great. Nice space to work in. There were 4 of us in the class and each we were each given our own machine to use. I did not need to purchase fabric at the location as I had some already, but the other students did. I think we were all happy with all that we made in the class. Had a wonderful instructor (Kirk I think), really good instruction, friendly and knows his stuff I really like the Dundas St E location, having since been to the Sterling Road location in the West, Dundas is still more convenient for me and the lighting was much better. Unfortunately the East location is closing end of 2019. In the class we made, a headband, a drawstring bag and a pouch that was lined so it looked very professional. Learned to use an invisible zipper which I really wanted to know. Overall I love that these classes are available and like with the Den is doing.
