During the Intro to Scuba lesson, students don provided gear as an instructor teaches them about the equipment’s functions, the basics of scuba diving, and how to properly breathe underwater in the safety of the shop’s pool.
The second option of this Groupon is valid for Part 1 of the Open Water Diver scuba-certification course, which includes classroom and pool instruction. Classroom sessions cover the theory of diving, and pool sessions cover emergency scenarios and other skills necessary to become a talented and safe diver. This course includes the use of tanks, weight belts, buoyancy compensators, and regulators, though students must supply their own personal gear such as books, wetsuits, masks, snorkels, and fins.
